I had to share this absolutely amazing video. It’s like the scene from a high budget science fiction movie, except it’s real life. The video, taken from the International Space Station, records the nighttime earth, thunder storms, and amazing aurora displays. Some talented person set it to just the right music too. Whenever I see this kind of thing, it makes me want to write science fiction.
One thing at a time, I guess.
Enjoy!
incredible! gave me chills!
i’m always whining about the cost of movie tickets. . . all disney needs to do is put 2 hours of that on the big screen and I’d happily give them my $9!
Gave me chills as well! That’s why I had to share. I’d love to see this on an IMAX!
This is so beautiful! I hope you don’t mind if I reblog it.
The auroras in particular look so fragile – makes you realise how thin our atmosphere is.
Thanks for sharing it. 🙂
Of course not, don’t mind at all. It is really amazing. I was enthralled by it, and knew others would like it as well. Glad you liked it!

It’s worth watching this video just to see the aurora from space – amazing delicate green tendrils. 2 mins out of your life well worth while.
