Remembering the day nearly 3000 people lost their lives, and the people who have sacrificed so much over the years to make sure that this never happens again.
This picture, taken in 2008, is of the rebuilding efforts on Ground Zero. I was able to see Afghanistan six years before I was able to pay my respects in New York.
